5 things I love Monday

This wasn't actually a linky party, but I felt like linking up anyways!! I had a lot of random things that I am loving right now, so why not share them?!

I am loving my little alone time with Mary Charles!
About once a week I steal her from her mommy. It gives her time to get things done and gives me extra loving time! This sweet girl will be celebrating her first birthday this week!!

I am loving that my big boy has 20/20  vision!
He had a vision and hearing screening on Friday and everything came back perfect.
Now if we can get by without braces, this will be one lucky pocketbook!

I am loving that I am so close to wearing the red jacket with Mary Kay!
I am also loving that one of my best friends signed up with me last week! Julie and I are going to have so much fun!

I am loving my man's new scruffiness! I made a comment a while back that I love that look. To be exact, Emmie and I were talking about Kyle Stanley (golfer). Whew!

And lastly, I am loving that Shane bought me Caden froot loops with marshmellows yesterday. This cereal is the way to my heart, for sure!

What are you loving on this Monday?

It's OK

Its Ok Thursdays

Its OK .....

that I want to have lunch with a different friend (sometimes the same ones) everyday until I move out of town, because I know our time then will be limited. (Lindsay--next week, for sure!)

that I am completely obsessed with the Mary Kay business opportunity, and will be busting it from now on to take advantage of all the greatness. Also, that I think everyone else is craaaaazy for not wanting it as well!

that I am telling all of my apartment kids that they will have my phone number when I move and they can call me anytime anyday that they need someone to talk to, even if it's 10 years from now. They have my heart.

That this made me laugh out loud!

that I am already praying for good friends in Pville.

that I believe Shane when he tells me not to worry about it. (anything)

that I really still dont have time to blog about much more than the things we do, which may be boring to most, but the memories are the reason I began this blog.

that I love planning our wedding and working as an apartment manager, but I cant wait until those two things dont take up space in my head. I am ready to devote myself to serving God, others, my family, and MK. I already do those things, it will just be easier to focus on those when these other two have moved along!

that I still havent gotten a final guest list for our wedding, or picked out invites. Wow, writing this makes me realize it must be done NOW.

that I miss my church even though I am still going on Wednesday evenings and loving the new one were visiting.

that I treat Thursdays as a Friday, because I hightail it to Pville as early as possible on Fridays to see my love love.

Mary Kay Monday- Lip Love

Actually, it is early Tuesday morning. I was unable to write yesterday, hey as long as it gets done, right?
I am so excited about what I have going on with Mary Kay right now! I had a day full of facials on Thursday, and it really helped make me more comfortable. I had so much fun! I have always heard of the other consultants loving this and I never knew what they meant exactly, until Thursday. I loved it! I had so much fun watching the ladies get all made up and feel good about how they looked when the left! It is unbelievable that I could actually let this be my job!! I am so determined to succeed with this! I would love for you to join me!

Lipliner- $12

I have never worn lipliner, I ve just never been consistant with a lipstick that I could keep a matching liner with. However, MK just came out with a clear lipliner. The clear lipliner, does the job of lipliner, without adding color. I will be trying it asap!! We do have a lot of pretty colors to choose from!

Nourishine Lipgloss- $14

Oh myyyy! I love this lipgloss! It is not sticky and there are so many pretty colors! You can look as natural as you like, or as dramatic as you like! My favorite right now is a newer color called Red Passion. It looks different on everyone. I have heard of so many good reviews on this lipgloss. It is probably the one thing that I cant leave the house without.

Creme Lipstick- $13

I did not wear lipstick until last year when I began wearing MK. I have been very happy with mine, although I may try a new color soon!

The long-wearing, stay-true color glides on with a lightweight, creamy texture for maximum color impact that lasts. Plus, it won’t feather or bleed. It’s even enhanced with vitamin E and a vitamin C derivative to help defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals. And it’s enriched with emollients and moisturizers, providing a veil of protection against moisture loss. Fragrance-free with a hint of vanilla flavor, the lipstick is perfect for combining with Mary Kay® Lip Liner and NouriShine Plus™ Lip Gloss.

Each Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick now features a color button to help make finding your favorite shade in your purse or bag quick and easy.
Liquid Lipcolor-$13

If you prefer a liquid over lipstick, and color over gloss, then this would be for you!

Tinted Lipbalm- $13

This has an SPF 15.

Age fighting Lip Primer- $22

TimeWise® Age-Fighting Lip Primer creates healthier-looking lips by fighting fine lines and wrinkles while light-diffusing microspheres decrease their appearance. Use it on lips, inside and outside your lip line, to extend lipstick wear and prevent lipstick and lip gloss from feathering and bleeding. Based on a 12-week clinical study, a dermatologist saw 100 percent of the panelists had an improvement of fine lines on lips.

Satin Lips Set
Mask and Balm- $18

Buff away dry skin with Satin Lips® Lip Mask (.3 oz. net wt.), then moisturize with Satin Lips® Lip Balm (.3 oz. net wt.) to keep lips soft.

So now you know what we have to offer to make your lips their loveliest!

It has really been awhile since I have been able to post about my fabulous Mary Kay products. However, with my attention now turned toward my goal of succeeding in the business, I am focused on sharing these wonderful products with you again. The reason I have chosen to share the eye care with you today, is because I personally know ladies that have used these creams and experienced just how well they reverse the signs of aging. One lady even said that her husband uses the product religously and lets her knows as soon as he is out! She also said that after using the firming eye cream, she has less wrinkles and looks younger in her 40's than in her 30's. I use it at 25, because I dont want those wrinkles sneaking up on me!

You can read more about it in this post that I wrote about it before. I forgot to mention in that post that if you do not take off your eye make up, it will cause eye mites. Yes, eye mites. This product is amazing, and actually makes your lashes grow thicker and longer. I have noticed that for myself.
Eye Mites!
If you do not remove your eye makeup nightly, you may have these little creatures created right there on your lashes! eeek!

Let me know if I can help you get any of these eye care products!

"It's for the kids!"

Having a lazy, rainy night in front of the t.v and this commercial comes on...

You know the one that has been on for millions of years about the "Gerber Grow Up Plan". Caden's reaction to this commercial was insane!

Caden- "Oh, here's that commercial, Mama!" As the commercial goes on, he yells, "$10,000, $20,000, $100,000??? Mama, its for the kids!!"

Evidently, he thought the kids got that all of that money! However, it only deepens my thoughts of how bad I need to start him a college fund. Which would be one of the reasons that I am a Mary Kay Beauty consultant....who wants a facial?!

Dreaming Pink

This month, I am coming up on my one year anniversary as a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant! In October, my friend Skye and I were able to attend the fall retreat for our unit. Oh I am so glad that we did! We were so inspired and learned a lot, andddd it was so much fun! I love, love, love our director, Nancy. I always say that if someone quit as a consultant, then they never had a Nancy! I took pictures of everything! Do you fellow bloggers every feel so weird taking pictures of every detail so that you can remember it later?! Non bloggers may not understand!! Skye and I left on that Friday evening, we were able to stay with her in laws and head to the retreat on Saturday morning. Just our girl time was enough for me!

Nancy with Me and Skye

Some of our unit

We will have one!

pink caddy!

These muffins were made by the devil and I had like 14!!
They were so good!

Our adorable box lunches!

cutest napkin!

This was part of my inspiration board that we were told to make.
Mine was mostly full of family time, and do you see that baby girl down there? I want her too! Can MK give me that?!!

The focus was on positive attitudes. We were taught that the more positive thoughts you have, then the more positive the outcome! We had to rate ourselves on the above qualities to measure our positiveness on our own lives. Mine was great! ha! You may see that the only things I marked as unacceptable are my bank account and my investments. I going to try real hard to think positive about those so they will grow!! hahahah!

We were also given these babies and told to pop ourselves every time we had a negative thought! Ouch! As positive as we are, Skye and I were a little sore on out ride home!!

Marie the prize bee! Every break, they would come down dressed as the prize bee. You won just by being loud and excited. I won a cute cute clipboard by using the never failing spirit fingers!

Number one reason I love MK, They are built on the principles of God- first, Family- second, and Career- third. Please let me know if you would like any information on becoming a part of our unit! We have so much fun and nothing compares to the great relationships that are built!
