Honeymoon Night 6 and Day 7

The last night, we were so exhausted but still not too ready to go yet! We chose the French restaurant to use our "honeymoon" dinner card and were treated to a romantic, candle lit table with rose petals on the table. I wish we would have used it somewhere else because this place was romantic anyways!

We joined our friends after dinner for front row seats that they snagged to the "Michael Jackson Experience" Tell me how crazy this is....

Yep, pretty crazy! Looks just like him. A fb friend said that he didnt die, he just moved to Mexico!

As we were saying goodbye, Charlie suggested a farewell breakfast to see us off. They were all getting a few more days in paradise!

We had The Lobster House for breakfast and I tried not to think about it being our last meal with our new friends! dont worry, I didnt get sentimental on them, and I didnt cry!
We took a sad picture, and Aldo had it all wrong. When we took a happy one, he still couldnt get it right!

I lost my southern lady-ness at the airport when they told me I had to throw out all liquids, gels, and cremes over 3.5 ounces. Youre probably saying, "duh, brittany!" But I am not a frequent flier! So out went my Mary Kay eye make up remover and toner. But luckily, I found a medicine bottle in my purse and just put the one pill in my purse, then emptied the cleanser in the bottle. Creative? I just love my MK!
I requested that we stay near the Starbucks because I love the way they smell!!

Can you believe that the plane had our seats separated?! This gave a new meaning to, "the honeymoon's over"! I asked Shane if he paid them to do that!!

I sat next to a couple that had been married for 30 years and he offered to swap seats with Shane. We told him several times that he didn't have to, but he insisted since we were honeymooners and all!

2 hour flight and 2 hour drive is about what it took. We stopped for a little Outback on our way home and I told myself that I would start eating better after the 4th! Ha! That starts on Monday :)

Honeymoon Day 6

We knew that we wanted to make a trip in to town, but wasnt sure which day. Then, we made plans with our new friends to all go together. But not before filling up on the wonderful breakfast buffet!

I requested the tall red chair table!!

The view from outside the resort

Silly Bride waiting on our ride!

Our trip into town-
Aldo was a great photo bomber!

Our first stop we in the downtown market area-
this is where we bought all of our gifts for the fams.
Shane looked so cute counting out the pesos!

We played around outside while waiting on our tour van to cool off!

Our next stop was in a mall, that was very "American-ized".

We wanted something more authentic for lunch but the tour guide insisted he take us to Senor Frogs.
Yeah, were pretty sure he gets a little something extra for taking us there. The smell there was AWFULLL and we were ready to head back to our fancy resort, even though it meant skipping out on the third stop!
We did get these little margaritas to start out with though!

Then the clown made us hats and someone else made us name tags that may not be appropriate for the family blog!

We southern ladies, on the right, taught sweet Laura-from Washington, on the left, all about monogramming, pinterest, and saying "bless your heart". By the end of the trip, She was saying, "Bless her heart" all the time!!

We came back to our room to find this little guy!

They actually had a towel-animal making class that I joked with Shane about taking and making him little animals back home!! ha!

And this ^ is where we spent our afternoon!

When I was bathing suit shopping, Shane joked that I didn't need one because we were going to a nude beach. ha! Yeah right! Turns out we did have two topless ladies prancing around!

What a nice way to end our last day!
I finished this night in another post, didnt want to have an overload of pics!

Show us your Life- Bathrooms

Today I am linking up with Kelly's Korner for Show us your Life- Bathrooms. Our bathroom and living room are probably the only two that I am finished decorating. So I have not been able to participate in the other rooms with the home tours! Here is our master bath-

Looking in this is what you see.
To the left is the tub and to the right is shower and toilet.

Mr. & Mrs. Signs-
I got these frames at a yard sale and had a friend write on them. We used them on a tree at our wedding, as well.

Grey towels with yellow monogram.
Q tips for everyday use are close by!

This cross was also from a yard sale $3, and also used at our wedding

These are my things in the shower

Shane keeps his seperate!

Turning back around to the tub

I know the brown drawers dont exactly go with the color scheme but I am desperate for more storage space!! The glass vase has cotton balls in it since I use them daily.

The "everyday" jewelry is on top of the brown drawers

More monogrammed towels above tub

Yellow vase in corner of tub

Yellow rug from Target-
Sister bought it for wedding gift

And just to be real here-- I removed this for pics but my MK travel roll up bag pretty much stays here all of the time!

Our guest/Caden's bathroom have awful lighting for pics.
It only has lights above the sinks.

Beach photo holder, also a wedding gift.
We go to the beach a lot so I am sure that these photos will be swapped up.

Basket- yard sale

Shower curtian- blues, greens, and browns
Yard Sale- $4
practically brand new!

one sink on the right

another sink on the left
As you can see, I am still lacking my monogrammed towels for this bathroom!
I am thinking brown with green?!

Hope you enjoyed a tour of our bathrooms!! If you dont read Kelly's Korner, youre probably wondering why in the world I just showed you our bathrooms!!! ha!
