The week before VBS began, April and I, along with Bro. Max and Mrs. Charlene, spent the week preparing, decorating, and praying for the week to come. We went in with almost no ideas, and just threw it all together. We took what we had and created many beach scenes throughout the church.
I cannot believe that I didnt get a picture of the Surf Shop that April and Clayton put together. It was possibly the cutest part of it all! Sunday was considered our VBS Kick Off and the morning service was children focused.

The children's choir also sang for us!
That evening, the church brought hotdogs, sno biz, a craft, and a Bible story over to the apartments for the children that live here. We had a great turnout and plenty of kids signed up to go to VBS. The church bus was coming to pick them up everyday.
We were ready for a fun, Jesus learning filled week at VBS!
